Hope: The Queen of Heaven

Hope springs eternal!
The tenth and lowest level of Hell in Dante's Inferno is reserved for those whose sin is the worst of all: despair. Like all the denizens of Hell, these poor souls are their own jailers.
The Star is the symbol of hope, a light to steer by. The Star is the light of the Queen of Heaven who has many names: Isis, Stella Maris, Mary.
