Ok,
let's be upfront, we are out-and-out fluffies. We are with the Mahatma
Ghandi and Martin Luther King every time in believing in non-violent
protest.
The state is the expert and master of force and coercion and to
try and fight them with their own weapons, using opposing force,
is just pointless. The way to fight force is to subvert it - ontological
judo.
Those demonstrators who use violence should be suspected of being
either:
a) trouble seeking morons, or
b) agent provocateurs.
We would like to see every demonstration turning into a party, a
Rio Carnival of anti-tyrannical feeling. Try giving someone a yellow
plastic duck or a daffodil and see how they feel about becoming
violent towards you.
We're not willing to play your game anymore, the force, power, manipulation
game. It's over. We've sussed you out. So take off your uniforms,
your costumes of conformity and come and join the fun!
The storm troopers of the Smiley Zippy party cause laughter at every
demo, wearing costumes, running naked or having a riot with music
and dancing. Look out for some of our agents of joy:
The Scouse Bunnies - furry bunny costumes, big moustaches
and scouse accents, running into every potentially violent confrontation
saying 'calm down, calm down';
The Craggy Island Protesters - Ted and Dougal lookalikes
bearing slogans of 'Down with this sort of thing' and 'Careful now';
The Toking Popes - self explanatory;
Utopian Pirates - weilding long balloons instead of cutlasses;
and all the others existing in our and your imaginations.
